Who is Jesus? We may think we know the answer to that because in our life we’ve encountered books, influential people, and other ideas that support our belief that we have the right answer. I’d like to take a couple of posts to help us all think about this question, and challenge our own beliefs as we refer back to the Bible to really understand who Jesus is, and what might be our cultural interpretations. In Jesus’ lifetime many people thought He was a good man, a prophet, or some other teacher. The response that He accepted and acknowledged as correct was that He is God’s Messiah. (Luke 9:19-20)
