Discipline! Most of us don’t really look forward to any kind of discipline, and I speak from experience as a boy growing up – I had my share of it. Did I enjoy it, of course not! And yet, when I reflect on the why of discipline, and understand the reasons behind it, I am now very appreciative of the discipline I received. It has helped make me a better person. It’s the same with God when He disciplines us – He loves us enough that He works in our lives to help us grow closer to Him. Is the outcome worth it, of course it is. So, let’s learn and grow through these experiences. (Hebrews 12:4-11)
