• Perseverence: Idea #20

Legos. What can we learn from legos? Apparently each year over 75 Billion pieces of Lego are sold, and yet this well-known toy almost didn’t happen. It took decades of persistence, working through a world war, bankruptcy, and workshop fires to bring this to market. Just think how much the world would have lost if the inventor had not persevered! Just think how much the world could lose if you don’t persevere – so keep on keeping on in spite of the challenges – I know you can do it!

  • Greatness: Idea #19

‘Be great in small ways. Exercising for 10 minutes doesn’t seem valuable when you see world records posted on Instagram. But winning the next 10 minutes is its own form of greatness. People are so busy wishing for more time and better resources that they fail to make the most of the time and resources they have. Be great in small ways and you may be surprised by what you’ve achieved within a year or two.’ (J.Clear)

  • Attitude: Idea #18

‘A positive thinker…expects things to work out well. Having a positive outlook can give you a reduced risk of having a heart attack, getting a cold, and being depressed. Positive thinking can lower…the risk of death from serious illnesses, including cancer…, stroke, and lung conditions…(it) even gives you a higher pain tolerance.’ (B.Tracy blog) So why would anyone want to think negative thoughts when they encounter any challenges? What does YOUR attitude look like?
