• Life: Idea #463

I know that sometimes I wish change would slow down a bit, however, ‘If life were predictable it would cease to be life, and be without flavor.’ (E.Roosevelt) A boring life is something I want to avoid even more. So what can I do to keep life interesting? ‘Be the curator of your life. Slowly cut things out until you’re left only with what you love, with what’s necessary, and with what makes you happy.’ (L.Babauta) As we focus on what we love and enjoy, we will grow and develop so much faster.

  • Creative: Idea #462

How often have you had an idea about how to improve or do something in a better way? That’s a good thing, because ‘Having an idea muscle is a requirement for all of us. In order to be creative, we have to work out that muscle regularly. Generate ideas on a regular basis. Imagine and try things outside the box.’ (J.Maxwell) However, ideas alone don’t bring the results you want. ‘Action, the act of taking the first step is what separates the winners from the losers.’ (B.Tracy) Let’s decide to be winners!

  • Effective: Idea #461

We all like to be ‘Winners. Many folks focus on what they are doing wrong, but the winners figure out what they are doing right.’ (B.Jett) Do you know what you do well? One aspect of that is knowing that ‘When you do the common things in life in an uncommon way, you will command the attention of the world.’ (G.Carver) And as you draw attention to how well you do the right things, you’ll learn that ‘If you believe in what you’re saying, if you believe in what you’re doing, you’ll be more effective, more passionate, and more authentic in everything you do.’ (S.Goldman) Food for thought, or growth, right there.
