Solve: Idea #122

How about some simple tips on dealing with problems? ‘Don’t add to the problem, solve it, and simplify it. Keep your problems very simple, break them down into manageable parts, and deal with the one you have “in the moment” before moving on to the next one.’ (J.Maxwell) If I were to paraphrase all that, I’d say: Start by breaking up your problem into small issues you can solve one at a time, don’t make it any bigger or worse than what it actually is, and finally, finish finding the solution to the first small bit before tackling the next bit. Perhaps it’s not always that easy, or that simple, however if we try to approach things this way, many times we’ll surprise ourselves with what we’ve actually achieved. Now let’s go do some problem solving!
