I am regularly asked about career paths, or career success, or “what do I need to do to progress”, etc. This topic IS important, yet it’s challenging to answer, as it differs for everyone. For myself, my goal has never been to achieve a certain career path or role, I want to be known as someone that gets things done and does them well. I’ve learned that if I keep growing and developing myself, if I truly care about my teams, and if I am willing to help others in whatever way I can, my career path (although mysterious and changing at times) will lead me to success and bring personal satisfaction. I think we need to focus less on our career path and focus more on doing well personally. What do you think?
