What’s your method of learning? There’s this concept that ‘Difficult and meaningful will always bring more satisfaction than easy and meaningless.’ (M.Legace) In other words, anything of value has a cost, and without a cost there’s minimal value. However, we also want to avoid “overspending” on the cost of learning. We see that ‘By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and Third, by experience, which is the bitterest.’ (C.)
