When we hear about compassion it strikes a warm chord inside us. But what does compassion really look like in everyday life? Some might think it’s just an attitude, and that definitely a part of it, but there’s so much more. Compassion requires actions, we need to do something. A kind work, a helping hand, being generous with our time and resources, this is real compassion. Another description is ’empathy in action’. It’s looking for a need and being willing to address that need. And it doesn’t need to be something big, it can be small and simple, just because you’ve been paying attention.
