Guidance: Leadership Idea #23

Do you know what most people want from their leaders? Guidance. Sounds so simple, but is forgotten all too often. As a leader, we have a responsibility to help guide others through difficult seasons, to offer support where needed, and to show the way by our example. If we model what we want to see in our teams, they will learn from us much better than by simply listening to what we say (just like children and parents). One important thing to remember though, if we want to give guidance, we need to know where we’re going, what we want to achieve, otherwise our guidance just goes in circles. Let’s start guiding today.
