How can you start building trust for yourself and within your team? I believe it start with extending trust to others. Not blind trust, but a thoughtful trust. I tend to always start out with full trust in my team, and it stays at that high level unless my trust is violated. And you know what, when you trust someone most of the time they will reward you with behavior that fulfills that trust. Real trust is more than trusting because you’ve had a good experience with them, real trust extends the belief that the other person will do what they commit to, and they know you believe in them.
