Why do we find ourselves in arguments way too often? Arguments tend to bring out the worst in us, so why indulge? My experience has been that because of a sinful human nature it’s hard to be humble, to admit when I’m wrong, or even just acknowledge that someone else knows better. Not being humble also causes one to respond more harshly when there’s disagreements because we want to be right, to be better than others. If we’re willing to be patient and loving when we disagree (ie. humble), we’ll be able to bypass most arguments. How humble am I today? (Eph 4:2-3)
