I think it’s fair to say that none of us like hard lessons, whether that’s in formal education, or at work, and even at home. The truth is, however, that hard lessons is probably where we have the biggest opportunity to learn and grow. The risk is that we do our best to avoid the hard lessons, which robs us of an excellent chance to really learn a major truth that will help us in our life. Of course we’d all prefer the easy lessons, the ones where you don’t need to expend too much effort. But ask yourself, do you want to creep along in your learning, or do you want to race ahead of the crowd? Let’s go hard!
