What are we willing to exchange in return for a full life with eternal rewards? We’re told in the Gospels that if we’re willing to lose our life for God our lives will be saved for Him. So we need to die to ourselves, our own plans, desires, wants and ego, and allow God to replace our selfish self with His Holy Spirit and a new life inside us. I don’t know about you, but it can be hard to lose my life to God’s plan no matter what that looks like. I prefer some certainty, some control over the direction of my life. Join me in dying (to self) before we die (physically). (Luke 9:23-25)
