Influence #2: Leadership Idea #69

Continuing my thoughts on influence, sometimes influence masquerades as peer pressure, or the expectation from senior people to do things we don’t agree with. If we’re not careful, and aren’t strong in our positions, we can be influenced to just “adjust our actions” a little bit, thinking it won’t hurt. What we need to do as leaders is find the people that have demonstrated, over time, that their intent is for the good of others (not themselves), and they are people of integrity, truth, and a selfless approach to life. Allow them to nudge you in the right directions, and you won’t regret it one bit.
