Compassion has such a big meaning that sometimes I forget how to actually demonstrate it. This characteristic is meant to clothe all believers just like the clothes we wear, covering all our decisions and actions. Compassion isn’t just about caring for another person, it’s also about trying our best to do something, anything, to help them out, get them to a better place. It’s a virtue that should be accompanied by patience, kindness, and forgiveness. And that last one can be a roadblock to genuine compassion, as we may feel “they deserve it”, whatever that may be. Let’s grow our compassion today. (Colossians 3:12-13)
