Are you a risk-taker, or a risk-avoider? Many of us lean to one side or the other, however, I believe the goal should be balance between those two extremes. All of life has risks, and sometimes the bigger the risk the bigger the payoff. However, risky decisions can also bring heartbreak, failure, and other negative outcomes. So what are we to do? The answer is careful, calculated risk-taking. Being aware of the risk, being willing to lose that if something goes wrong, and trying to put steps in place to mitigate as much risk as possible. Be careful, but go big!
