If you’re like the average person, there are times when discipline sounds like a bad word. First of all, as a child we don’t like being corrected (perhaps as adults too). But I want to think of discipline in the sense of doing those things we know are the right thing to do even when we don’t feel like it. Things like exercise even when we’re tired, helping others even when we’d rather look after ourselves and relax, or being nice and friendly to the person that’s grouchy and difficult to work with. How are you demonstrating discipline this week?
