Today let’s think about our expectations of others. Sometimes we expect a lot from others and they disappoint us. However, we need to also realize we may do the same for others’ expectations of us. Having said that, when we do set expectations high for others, and communicate that to them (while also supporting them), you’d be surprised how often people step up to the challenge and deliver even more than you expected. But if they don’t deliver, don’t give up on them – see what you can do to help them meet your expectations, the rewards will benefit both of you.
