Following up on the topic of love, today let’s think about how we are to love others. It starts with how we love ourselves, and that’s not a selfish love of ourselves, it’s a correct understanding of who we are in God’s family, how He really loves us and sees us. When we fully understand that, we can accept ourselves as God created us, and love what He’s made us to be. Then as we love ourselves properly, we can correctly love all those around us – the good, the bad, and the ugly. All this because we now see them as people created in God’s image – loved by Him. (Luke 10:27)
