How often do you catch yourself complaining? It’s such an easy trap to fall into. We may even think it’s our right to complain, especially when it involves bad things happening to us. However, when I look at how God views complaining, it’s not an OK thing to do. Why is complaining such a bad idea? I believe it’s because as a member of God’s family we’ve been promised that He’s looking after us, and will provide what we need, and has a good plan for our lives. So from that perspective, complaining seems to indicate we either don’t trust Him, or we don’t believe Him. Let’s be grateful and not complain. (Num 11:1)
