I grew up learning construction work, and to this day I like to fix and build things. One of the challenges is in carefully designing what I want to build. I remember my dad spent significant time on his drawing board drawing out plans. And you know what, the construction materials never argued with him on how they were being used. But as people, we tend to argue with our Designer – God – when He wants to construct us according to His plan. Why should we think we know better? Shouldn’t we let the Master Designer build us up according to His amazing plan? (Jer 18:6)
