Sin is such an ugly word we often don’t like to talk about it, much less acknowledge our involvement. And yet, without the acknowledgement of our sinfulness, how can we fully accept the new life offered through the death of Jesus on the cross? And how can we pretend that some sin is OK, that God doesn’t mind a little sinning here and there? Of course we stumble and fall, however, we also need to recognize sin for what it is – not God’s plan for us – AND most importantly, they are failures He is always more than willing to forgive. Let’s start calling out sin for what it is, and align our lives with Him. (1 John 3:9)
