There’s a song that talks about how everybody hurts, but what about God, does He ever hurt? I believe that when Jesus was living here on earth He suffered and hurt like we do, because the Bible tells us that He has experienced all the trials and temptations we endure, so that He can intercede for us – and – I believe, He also knows how to comfort us when we hurt. Because He hurt along with us, He also comforts us so that we can in turn comfort others that are hurting. Hurt is a reality of life, however I’m comforted by the fact that my Heavenly Father knows how to comfort me when I hurt. (2 Corinthians 1:4-6)
