Have you ever noticed that if you’re having a bad day, and you complain to everyone around you, not only do they try to avoid you but you begin to feel even worse. Something I’m still learning is to swivel my focus from myself to others, and find an encouraging word to speak to them. As I speak those words of support and encouragement, my “bad day” starts to get better. That’s because when we give to others, there’s a return for us that even larger than what we gave. I guess you could say it’s how to move your mindset from the negative to the positive.
