Are you like me, and find yourself at times doing the right thing just because “it’s the right thing to do”, but you wish you could avoid it? I need to remind myself that I’m not doing whatever act of service for someone else, I’m doing it for God – to please Him. And really, it shouldn’t be a duty, we should be serving others out of love, and doing so wholeheartedly, with all our effort and offering the best from ourselves. It’s hard to serve others wholeheartedly if we’re not doing so out of love for them, and if it’s not wholehearted, many times it only delivered half-way. Let’s go all in and be wholehearted in all we do. (Ephesians 6:6-8)
