How often do we indicate that we’re “just too busy” to do something important? ‘Busy is a decision. We do the things we want to do, period. If we say we are too busy, it is just shorthand for the thing being “not important enough” or “not a priority.’ (D.Millman) We all have 24 hours a day, the hard part is deciding how to use those hours. What have you been avoiding recently that you blamed on “busy-ness”, when actually you didn’t see it as a priority. I think when we recognize our decisions are based on our priorities, we may choose to make different decisions.
