A long time ago I read a book called “What to Say When You Talk to Yourself” by Shad Helmstetter. As I was thinking about personal development, I realized this topic combined with what we think about (ie. “You are what you think”) is very powerful in determining our future. With that in mind, I plan to write a small series of posts exploring this topic (Talk & Think), as I believe having a good understanding of the impact of our self-talk and inner thoughts will allow each of us to be more successful in our personal and professional self-development.
