Apology: Idea #73

‘A good apology is like antibiotic, a bad apology is like rubbing salt in the wound.’ (R.Pausch) How hard is it to apologize when we’re wrong – it’s definitely not easy for me. However, a good apology for a deed or word that shouldn’t have happened is a strong way to grow as a person, and as a leader. Remember though, if you are in the wrong, make sure your apology is genuine, as a bad apology only serves to make things worse, and can even destroy what is left of a relationship. Challenge for today is to be humble enough to apologize when and where it’s needed.
