Loyalty: Idea #263

A concept that I believe has been disappearing from our culture is the idea of loyalty – and many times it is with good reason. People and businesses betray our trust, mistreat us, and take advantage of our previous loyalty. However, what it also does is create a sense of being alone, without support, adrift without an anchor. We give up on others quickly, perhaps too easily, and shift our allegience somewhere else. Without the longevity that loyalty brings, we hop and skip from one to another, no stability, and no surety on the future. I believe that trust, patience, forgiveness and that type of approach rewards loyalty, and helps all of us function better together as a group, a team, and a business. How loyal are you today?
