A few lessons from the creators of Slack (not their original product): ‘1: Embrace failure…2: Don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater…3: Double-down on what’s working…Success rarely happens as planned… but if you’re willing to roll with the punches, learn as you go, and pivot when necessary, you’ll most certainly succeed.’ (E.Partaker) As I read those quotes, I’m challenged to never give up when my original idea doesn’t work out, or even fails completely. There are always lessons to be learned, aspects of the test that we can salvage and reuse, but only if we’re willing to change to what will work. Let’s pivot today!
