• Habit: Idea #102

Would you like to change things in your life? ‘You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.’ (B.Fuller) In other words, stop trying to “change” the old habits, practices, ways of working, and start new habits, practices, and ways of working. As you persist, the old “ways” will slowly disappear. Start today!

  • Priority: Idea #101

‘Look at your day, and realize that you can’t be 100% on all day – you are human, you need breaks – but you do need to be 100% on for the things that are priorities. When you look at the teachings of the 3 R’s – what is required of you, what gives you the greatest return, and what gives you the greatest reward – you line those up to find your sweet spot within your priorities.’ (J.Maxwell) What growth area for yourself will you focus on 100% this year?

  • Commitment: Idea #100

Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to “once and for all” know that we’ve grown and developed to our full potential, no more hard work required. That’s just not how life works, however. ‘One good day does not mean you can coast tomorrow. You never have it fully licked. Making good choices is an endless process. Many areas of life that we value most—our relationships, our fitness, our craft—require a continual commitment.’ (J.Clear) Consistency in our choices, continual effort towards our goals, practice, practice, practice – this needs to be our mantra. Don’t worry, you will get there!
