Another tip on ‘how high road leaders set themselves apart from people who travel the middle or low road. High road leaders do this by taking accountability for their actions. They admit mistakes. Power corrupts, but a high road leader stays accountable to other people, which helps keep them on track. You go through hard things today so you can handle and develop the emotional capacity to do harder things tomorrow. You need emotional strength and capacity in addition to your gifts in order to succeed.’ (J.Maxwell) Although it may be tough, the decision to persevere demonstrates which road you’re traveling.
