• Hope #1: Idea #366

Does it sometimes feel like life is tough, things are going wrong, and it’s just too hard? ‘Someday all you will have to light your way will be a single ray of hope and that will be enough.’ (K.Yamada) What’s that ray of hope for you? ‘Ask yourself: If I can’t avoid it, change it, or make it go away, what if I changed my response to it? What if I decided to stop letting it bother me?’ (A.Siebert) Maybe that ray of hope is how you respond to the tough things of life. Join me in choosing to change how we respond to the difficulties we face, and bring a ray of hope into our lives. Making this choice shows growth and development in our lives.

  • Change: Idea #365

Are you afraid of change? Does the unknown worry you? ‘The most consistent thing about life is that nothing is the same, everything changes. If you can accept that, then you’re OK. If you can’t accept the fact that you can’t control everything, then you get yourself in a rut.’ (P.Jackson) In my lifetime I’ve seen more change than I ever thought possible, and that’s just in myself. So if you are trying to avoid change – STOP – turn around and embrace it. Because as you embrace change you also receive the ability to grow and improve as a person.

  • Build: Idea #364

I grew up helping my father in construction. It was always exciting to see a new house go up and be completed. ‘When we build, we take something insubstantial, add our effort, and watch it develop and grow. It is exciting to build and see progress. What is it you need to grow and build today? Why haven’t you started? You can’t go back and create a brand new start, but you can start now and build a brand new end!’ (J.Maxwell) Have a look around, what can you take and build on? It’s never too late to start building what you want to become.
