Sometimes we may not see the value in building professional relationships. ‘Relational leaders love connecting with others. It is important to slow down and connect with people even when it isn’t required or beneficial to your success. Find someone that you don’t have to connect with in order to be successful in your job, and take time to get to know them. When you do this, you begin to develop your muscle of connection and become better at connecting with the people you have been called to lead.’ (J.Maxwell) That’s a good tip if you want to develop yourself!
