• Conflicts: Idea #517

No one likes conflicts, however, ‘Conflict Resolution is the art of turning discord into harmony and tension into opportunities, while fostering a culture of collaboration and growth within an organization. Conflict is inevitable and can disrupt productivity, but we don’t need to avoid it … Instead we should address it constructively, which allows us to transform it into an opportunity to learn and grow.’ (J.Maxwell) Join me in improving our conflict resolution skills even though it’s difficult.

  • Forgiveness: Idea #516

This post reflects my personal beliefs, however I think everyone can learn from these principles. It’s important to acknowledge we make mistakes, however, ‘It is just as necessary to forgive ourselves as it is to forgive others, and the principal reason why forgiveness seemed so difficult is because we have neglected to forgive ourselves.’ (C.Larson) Forgiveness might seem an unusual topic for growth and development, but I can assure you it’s a part of growing. When we practice forgiveness, we are saying ‘Today I have made up my mind to leave doubts and fear behind because they are too hard to live with. I am going to live an inspired, faith filled, victorious life which goes above and beyond my past.’ (J.Sykes) No one is tied to their past, we all can change for the better.

  • Bridges: Idea #515

Sometimes it’s easy to think we’re going through life on our own, that we have to be solo heroes. However, other people are required and important in this journey. ‘It is important to be intentional about making time for others and truly seeing them. Walk slowly through the crowd. This is a mindset where you intentionally build a bridge so others can get to you. Build bridges not walls. Don’t be too busy to see people.’ (J.Maxwell) How many bridges have you built in the past week, and how many walls have you toppled?
