• Solving #2: Idea #478

How often do you ask for help? ‘The second principle of problem solving is asking for help. None of us are as smart as all of us. When you ask others for help, who aren’t emotionally involved in your problem, you allow your problem to be seen objectively. This doesn’t diminish yourself in other’s eyes, it only diminishes the problem.’ (J.Maxwell) I know it can be hard to ask for help as we may see it as a sign of weakness. It’s not! Go ahead, ask for help from someone today.

  • Solving #1: Idea #477

Today I want to start a series of posts on problem solving, as this is a skill that contributes in several ways. It helps you grow and develop, and it makes you more valuable to yourself and where you work. ‘Everyone has problems, but not everyone deals with them in the right way. How do you handle problems? When you are able to solve problems and help others solve problems, it allows you to move forward toward success.’ (J.Maxwell) Stay tuned for some principles of problem solving, and I trust they’ll help you like they’ve helped me.

  • Confident: Idea #476

Are you a confident person? ‘Low self-confidence isn’t a life sentence. Self-confidence can be learned, practiced, and mastered – just like any other skill. Once you master it, everything in your life will change for the better.’ (B.Davenport) If you need an encouraging word, let me know, and I’ll help you find at least one area in which you are excellent. ‘No more excuses. No more self-sabotage. No more self-pity. No more comparing yourself to others. Time to step up. Take action right now and start living your life with purpose.’ (A.St.Maarten) You are a unique person that has unique abilities that no one else has, so claim it, and be confident!
