If you ever feel stuck in knowing where to focus your learning on, know that ‘When the student is ready, the teacher appears. Leaders should work to share an experience rather than just teaching it. A really good teacher makes the student part of the lesson, instead of trying to make the lesson part of the student. Teach well by sharing what you know with others.’ (J.Maxwell) That’s a great reminder that the best learning happens when you are helping others grow and learn.

How we treat others is important in life. ‘No matter what happens in life, be good to people. Being good to people is a wonderful legacy to leave behind.’ (T.Swift) Our behavior with others will eventually determine our results. ‘How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in your life you will have been all of these’ (G.Carver) I’d like to suggest that success is strongly connected to the Golden Rule of doing to others what you would like others to do to you.

You became successful the day you decided to go to school, take the course, pursue the goal. Success is a continual journey that shows up at graduation. Success is not the same as recognition of success.
