• Mission: Idea #434

Following on from the topic of dreams from yesterday, the next question to think about is ‘What is your mission? Did I offer peace today? Did I bring a smile to someone’s face? Did I say words of healing? Did I let go of my anger and resentment? Did I forgive? Did I love? These are the real questions.’ (H.Nouwen) Seems like just having a dream isn’t enough, we need to have a mission in life that we focus on instead of the challenges we face. Take some time to join me in thinking about your mission, and how focusing on this will help you grow as a person.

  • Dream: Idea #433

Do you have a dream about your future? Would you like to accelerate your dream? Ask yourself, ‘Is your dream about others? This significance question is the most rewarding of all the questions. We were created to help one another and make a positive difference in people’s lives. Put your dream to the test, ask the questions, gather your team, and your dream will come closer to reality.’ (J.Maxwell) Who would have guessed, having a dream about others will help your dream become a reality much faster!

  • Steady: Idea #432

We don’t see the term “steady” used that often in reference to growing and developing. What image does that word evoke in you? What about seeing it as ‘Those who are steady are reliable, consistent, and present. When we are steady about the things that matter, it allows us to build something that is solid, powerful, and valuable. Choose the direction you want to go in, and be steady in it. Those who are steady see results.’ (J.Maxwell) Does this change how you see being steady? I hope you join me in the steady growth and development we all want to see.
