    Have you ever entertained the idea that only others are destined for greatness? Let’s change our thinking. ‘Greatness lies within all of us. It is up to us to summon the courage to bring this special gift out of us on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. Greatness, you have it, you can use it, the world needs it! Choose to be great!’ (W.Brown) YOU can be great if you decide to spend time on the actions that describe and create greatness. Remember, greatness is not fame, it’s an action that makes a profound and long-lasting impact.

  • Plan: Idea #344

    This year, don’t get so stuck on a plan that you cannot adapt when change is needed.‘When nothing is working, explore and make a lot of small bets. After something starts working, double down on what works best. When that stops working, explore and make a lot of small bets again.’ (J.Clear) If we can see that our plan isn’t working, stop, reflect, adjust, and take small steps in different directions until you find the path that will take you to a successful end. Don’t let a good plan keep you from working on the best plan. ‘When it is obvious the the goals cannot be reached, don’t just adjust the goals, adjust the action.’ (C.)

  • Goals: Idea #343

    What goals have you set for yourself this year? ‘We all know what a goal is, but do we understand its importance? When you lack goals, you lack a sense of knowing. Even when we miss our goal, when we have somewhere to aim it allows us to enjoy the game. Goals provide direction and satisfaction. What areas of your life could use some direction and a new goal?’ (J.Maxwell) I’m thinking about how I can better support my team, better help them to develop into strong leaders. My goal is to have my team end the year successful, resilient, and satisfied with their progress this year.
