• Help: Idea #342

This year as you focus on your growth and development, remember that ‘People are thrilled to help and share their knowledge when others ask for directions. There is something wonderful about giving directions and something humbling about asking for them. If you don’t know where you are going, when you get there, how will you know where you are?’ (J.Maxwell) It’s not a sign of weakness to ask for help, it’s a sign of growth, knowing that you still have things to learn. Please feel free to share your knowledge and tips of life with me – I know I don’t have it all yet.

  • Boldness: Idea #341

I hope that your year is starting off well, however, in case you are starting the year with challenges, let me remind you that you need to ‘Have an unrelenting belief that things will work out, that the long road has a purpose, that the things that you desire may not happen today, but they will happen.’ (B.Gast) Sometimes we need to travel the rough road to appreciate the smooth paths of life, and remember that in the challenges we also find the biggest opportunities. Join me this month in being aware of the opportunities, stepping out with boldness to grab it, and hanging on for dear life to ride it to a huge success.

  • Happy New Year: Idea #340

Happy New Year 2024! I hope you had a really good break over the past several weeks, and are ready to start this year with renewed energy and determination to grow as a person (and leader) and find ways to develop yourself in all areas of life. Don’t depend on New Year’s resolutions – they seldom stick. Instead, find one other person that you can depend on to help keep you accountable for the ONE thing you want to get much better at this year. Don’t try for lots of change, try one thing for now, and as you start succeeding in that ONE thing, then you can begin thinking about what comes next. I’m excited to hear about what your ONE thing is for 2024.
