• Habits: Idea #247

‘Habits; we all have them. Some of them are healthy and worth keeping and others really aren’t helping us. So what do you do?’ (M.Blaszczyk) ‘You leave old habits behind by starting out with the thought, “I release the need for this in my life.”’ (W.Dyer) In other words, rather than trying to stop or quit old habits, focus on starting new habits. ‘There are far, far better things ahead than anything we leave behind.’ (C.S.Lewis) Habits don’t need to start off big, start them small, and grow them as you grow and develop. • Enough: Idea #246

‘You are enough. It doesn’t matter who you used to be; what matters is who you decide to be today. You are not your mistakes. You are not your mishaps. You are not your past. You are not your wounds. You can decide differently today and at every moment. Remember that. You are offered a new opportunity with each breath to think, decide, choose and act differently – in a way that supports you in being all that you are capable of being. You are not less than. You are enough.’ (B.Josephina) I’m so thankful that I have a fresh start every day, and get to choose who I am each day. Choose to be a new person today – and be amazed.

  • Environment: Idea #245

‘Is your environment what you want it to be? Are you creating an environment that will help you accomplish your goals and objectives? We are a product of our environment. Do an assessment on what is around you, the people who surround you, and the experiences that result. Make sure your environment is conducive to what you want to accomplish.’ (J.Maxwell) Know that ‘Experience is not what happens to a man, it is what a man does with what happens to him.’ (A.Huxley) Having the right environment will definitely help you grow and develop. Remember, you become like the people in your environment, so choose carefully.
