• Support: Idea #253

As I begin my second year of sharing posts that help us all grow and develop both personally and professionally, I’d really enjoy hearing from you on what topics are front of mind for you in this area. What growth areas are challenging for you, what professional development seems overwhelming? I have a lot of material, tips, and quotes I can (and want to) share with you, however with your feedback I can share those topics that will benefit you the most. I guess you could say that one of the important aspects of growth is a supporting community of people, and as we support each other we will grow faster. Please help me develop by giving feedback.

  • Celebrate: Idea #252

As mentioned in a previous post – time truly does fly. Today marks 1 year since I started posting my simple ideas, and I think this is a good reason to celebrate. Not because of the milestone, although that’s a part of it, however I’m focusing more on the fact that we’ve all been growing and developing over the past year – that’s what I want to celebrate! Take a few moments with me to reflect on where you are today compared with a year ago – I believe that as I reflect I can see that in spite of the many challenges and changes that have come my way I’ve still be able to grow and develop both personally and professionally. Today is a day to celebrate – join me!

  • Confidence: Idea #251

Do you consider yourself a confident person? Why or why not? Maybe we need to take another look at what a good version of confidence looks like. ‘One version of confidence is: I’ve got this figured out. Another version is: I can figure this out. The first is arrogant and close-minded. The second is humble and open-minded. Be humble about what you know, but confident about what you can learn.’ (J.Clear) Perhaps you’ve been thinking of confidence as having it “all figured out” when in reality it’s about knowing you can figure it out. Reach out today and grab your “good” confidence.
