If we want to experience personal growth, we must evaluate our environment and make the changes that support our growth goals. The things around us affect what’s going on inside of us, and growth will only happen when we make it welcome. So, how do we make growth welcome? A growth environment is a place where…
    – Others are ahead of you.
    – You are continually challenged.
    – Your focus is forward.
    – The atmosphere is affirming.
    – You are out of your comfort zone.
    – You wake up excited.
    – Failure is not your enemy.
    – Others are growing.
    – People desire change.
    – Growth is modeled for you and expected of you.

    I want to bring together a few thoughts around success. ‘The road to success is always under construction.’ (L.Tomlin) I understand this to mean the path can be tough. However, ‘Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.’ (H.Cain) So it seems success needs to start with doing what we love, and then work with others, because ‘Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.’ (H.Ford) And as we work towards success, it’s important to ‘Put your heart, mind, and soul into even your smallest acts. This is the secret of success.’ (S.Sivananda)
