• Harvest: Idea #509

A natural law is that you harvest what you plant. ‘The law of the harvest is to reap more than you sow. Sow an act, you reap a habit. Sow a habit and you reap a character. Sow a character and you reap a destiny.’ (J.Allen) And it’s not just one in one out, when you plant, the harvest is much greater than what you planted. This is true not only with your garden, it’s true with what you do in life. So start planting now, because ‘If you start now you will start seeing the result one day earlier than if you wait until tomorrow.’ (U) Happy harvesting!

  • One-Thing: Idea #508

Over the years I’ve learned that having too many goals will ensure you never complete all of them, and in fact may not complete any. ‘You’ll probably surprise yourself with what you can accomplish – if you’re focused on one thing. You’ll probably frustrate yourself with what you fail to accomplish – if you’re doing 5 or 7 or 10 things. Nobody performs well when stretched in a half dozen directions.’ (J.Clear) Having a single focused goal will enable you to achieve huge successes, because you’re focused like a laser beam on what is important to achieve.

  • Interesting: Idea #507

Who wants a boring life anyway? ‘Challenges are what make life interesting. Overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.’ (J.Marine) This indicates we should be welcoming new challenges as that helps bring meaning to our life. And as with any challenge, new challenges call for resilience. ‘Resiliency is the art of learning to repeatedly refuse to do anything else other than rise again after ANY and ALL set-backs!’ (B.Jett) In wrapping this all together, if you’re looking for meaning in your life, learn how to keep getting up after every set-back. Is it easy? Not really. Is it worth it? For sure!
