• Health: Idea #470

My team has heard me state many times that we need to look after ourselves so we can look after others and our responsibilities (which includes family and work). However, this does not give us permission to be selfish and only focus on ourselves – to have a “me, me, me” attitude. In looking after ourselves, we ensure we have good health in four areas – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. All four areas are interconnected, and if we have good health in those areas, we’ll be able to look after others both personally and professionally. And as we serve others, we’ll be able to fulfill our responsibilities with excellence, both personally and professionally. Join me in taking the small steps today that will result in a different you in 2 years, in 5 years, whatever the future timeline is that you’re working towards.

  • Unique: Idea #469

One thing I’ve been able to learn in my travels through life, and that is that I must be myself – I cannot be someone else. ‘Free yourself. Once I began to realize that there were no rules and that my path didn’t have to look like everyone else’s, I relaxed and my whole world opened up.’ (G.B.Benson) Definitely I can and will learn from others, but I’m unique, and hope to stay unique. So, ‘As long as I’m alive, I will continue to try to understand more because the work of the heart is never done.’ (M.Ali) Real change starts on the inside and shows on the outside.

  • Insight: Idea #468

Have you ever experienced a “light bulb” moment? Remember, ‘Insight is not change. Having insight is potentially the beginning of change. Understanding and acting on that understanding are two different things. Change doesn’t take place in a day. It takes place day by day, through a process. We have to engage in a process where we act on our insights to see change.’ (J.Maxwell) Let’s take our “light bulb” moments and act on them to bring new development into our life pathway.
