• Unconventional: Idea #413

Are you feeling a little stuck in life? ‘It is easy to do what is expected and follow a conventional path … But when we embrace the unconventional, we can experience the kind of life we most desire … So, do things that look unique to the people around you, take that unconventional path! When we stop expecting others to approve of everything we do, we give ourselves permission to step out of the box others have tried to put us in, and we discover our own unique purpose.’ (J.Maxwell) Maybe you can try something new and different today, and watch yourself grow more.

  • Change: Idea #412

‘Change is your friend not your foe; change is a brilliant opportunity to grow.’ (S.T.Bailey) Do you really believe this? If not, take some time to examine yourself and really think about it. ‘The first step toward change is acceptance. Once you accept yourself, you open the door to change. That’s all you have to do. Change is not something you do, it’s something you allow.’ (W.Garcia) Change WILL happen, we can’t stop it. So you don’t need to worry about “doing” change, just allow it to happen and be confident in yourself that through this you’re going to grow.

  • Desire: Idea #411

Let’s look at some words of wisdom on how to handle detours on our way to success. ‘Real life isn’t always going to be perfect or go our way, but the recurring acknowledgement of what is working in our lives can help us not only to survive but surmount our difficulties.’ (S.B.Breathnach) Focus on what is working to get past the roadblocks. And our focus needs to be razor sharp, because ‘When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful.’ (E.Thomas) Personally I’ve experienced a choking situation where I couldn’t breathe, and I assure you, the desire to breathe is very strong. So join me in developing this strong desire to succeed.
