• Work Culture: Idea #322

Would you like to transform your workplace culture and improve your communications? Try these three steps: ‘1. Reflect: After a disappointing Rugby World Cup campaign in 2007, self-reflection and good leadership turned the New Zealand All Blacks around…2. Take Action: Realize that you can only improve and grow from practicing and receiving radical candor…3. Be Inspired: It is teamwork that remains the ultimate competitive advantage, both because it is so powerful and so rare.’ (GF) Join me in Reflecting, Taking Action, and Being Inspired – then let me know what has changed for you.

  • Excuses: Idea #321

No one likes excuses, and so we need ‘…responsibility, which is one of the vital things that allows us to learn from our losses. If you don’t take responsibility for your mistakes, mess-ups, and losses, you will never fix them and improve yourself. It is easier to go from failure to success than to go from excuses to success. The only way to eliminate excuses is to take responsibility.’ (J.Maxwell) I choose to be responsible for my choices, how about you?

  • Love: Idea #320

Talking about love can be controversial, however I believe true love is important, which is why I want to align with this: ‘Grant me the strength to focus this week, to be mindful and present, to serve with excellence, to be a force of love.’ (B.Burchard) Being a force of love, how wonderful is that? ‘A person remembers not the hatred and criticism of a million people, but the love and confidence of just one. Don’t regret upon what you could have done and prepare for what you have to do.’ (K.Cho) If together we commit to being a force of love in our workplace, community, and home, we will grow much stronger as a person.
